What is Rally?

Rally is a fun and exciting team sport for dogs and their handlers! Dog and handler teams navigate a course at a brisk, continuous pace, with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform, such as Sit-Down-Sit, Straight Figure Eight, Send Over Jump, Pivot 180° Right, Spiral Right with Dog on the Outside, Side Step Right, and Drop on Recall. It is a fun test of obedience and the trust in the relationship between dog and handler.

Rally provides an excellent introduction to AKC/ASCA/UKC events for new dogs and handlers, and can provide a challenging opportunity for competitors in other events to strengthen their skills. ALL dogs are eligible to compete in rally. It also requires teamwork between dog and handler, along with performance skills similar to obedience. 

 

WA State Dept. of Revenue now requires the collection of sales tax on our dog training classes (but not private lessons).  Click here to see the law. The current sales tax for Win-Star's location in Unincorporated Pierce County is 10.1%.
